Expand the game from the homepage

The expanded area keeps an exit control alongside the game. The Lab planner remains part of the normal page and is available again when you return. This avoids placing numeric inputs over the action while you are playing.

  1. Open the homepage and let the original game load in its window.
  2. Use the outer Expand game button to enlarge the game area.
  3. Complete any original-game setup inside that area and click the game when you want its controls to receive input.

Return without restarting the window

Use the visible exit control to restore the regular layout. On desktop, this brings the game and planner back side by side where the screen is wide enough. On narrow screens, they return to their stacked positions.

The website keeps the same embedded game element when toggling its layout. This prevents a layout change from deliberately reloading the game. It is not a guarantee against an unrelated game crash, browser reload or network interruption. Your planner inputs also remain in the current page state while you switch modes.

Why fullscreen can vary by browser

MDN documents fullscreen as a request that can be rejected and requires a user interaction. Browser support also differs. When standard fullscreen is unavailable, this site uses an expanded page layout with its own exit control.

A browser may expose its own fullscreen exit affordance or handle Escape. Use the visible controls when a keyboard action is ambiguous. You do not need to change your game account or create a new Guest to change the window size.

Know which actions create a different context

Opening the original game in a new tab is a useful fallback, but it is a different page from the embedded window. Check the session shown there before treating it as a continuation. Reloading or leaving the homepage can also end the current page instance.

Use the game’s own pause action before leaving it unattended. The outer fullscreen button does not send a pause command and cannot inspect the game’s private state. If you want the full planner while preserving the homepage, open its dedicated page in a new tab.

Return from PokeBonk fullscreen to your Stardust goal

Pause inside PokeBonk before leaving the action to edit a budget. Use the visible exit control to return to the page, then select the calculator field you want to change. Expanding and restoring this website keeps the same embedded game element. Opening the original PokeBonk game in another tab creates a separate page; verify its Guest or account context before treating it as a continuation.

Frequently asked questions

Does leaving fullscreen pause PokeBonk?

No pause is requested by this website. Use the original game’s own controls and inspect its state before stepping away.

Why can the game fill the page but browser bars remain?

Your browser may be using the page-expanded fallback rather than standard fullscreen. The visible exit control still returns you to the regular layout.

How do I exit PokeBonk fullscreen?

Use the visible exit control to return to the page. Pause inside the game first when needed; changing the window size does not itself pause the run.
