What the Lab is for
Open Lab → Upgrades from the main menu. The observed cards cover starting stats, move and vitamin capacity, offer controls and longer-term progression. Each shows an owned level, a maximum level and the next Stardust price.
Stardust is the Lab currency. Trading, for example, increases PokéDollars earned in a run; its card does not say that it increases Stardust rewards. Keep those currencies separate in your upgrade plan.
Choose a purpose before a price
Choose a purchase that solves a specific problem. Extra capacity matters when you have a useful move or vitamin to put in it. Refresh and Banish affect your choices; Training changes a stat.
For a capacity goal, compare 4th move first. For better control of offers, compare Refresh, Skip and Banish. These suggestions follow the displayed effects; this guide has not measured a universally fastest purchase order.
| Goal | Cards to compare |
|---|---|
| Another learned attack | 4th move |
| More control over level-up choices | Refresh, Skip, Banish, Fourth option |
| A starting stat improvement | Training, Stamina, Agility, Shell, Leftovers |
| Longer-term unlock and pool management | Research, Support team, Archive |
All 19 first-level prices, checked in v0.7.1

These are the prices visible at owned level 0 on a fresh Guest, checked on 19 Oct 2026. The table does not claim to establish later-level prices or outcomes after purchasing. “Max levels” is the limit displayed on the card.
The planner’s optional quick lookup copies one of these first-level prices. If you already own a level, or your game shows another version or price, overwrite it with the next price in your own Lab.
| Upgrade | Level 0 → 1 | Max levels | Displayed effect |

Connect the purchase to your actual rewards
Record the Lab currency you actually receive, using the game’s result and balance information. Our run-reward guide explains how to avoid confusing a balance change with earnings when you also bought something.
The planner can estimate how many similar runs a remaining budget might take. It cannot determine a hidden reward formula, purchase an upgrade or confirm an unlock prerequisite for you. After buying something that changes your results, gather a fresh sample.
Choose PokeBonk permanent upgrades by purpose
Start a PokeBonk upgrade plan with the problem you want to solve. For another attack slot, inspect 4th move. For more control over offers, compare Refresh, Skip and Banish. For a stat change, read cards such as Training or Stamina. Then check your owned level and next price. The cheapest PokeBonk Lab upgrade is not automatically the most useful purchase for your current goal.
Frequently asked questions
Are these prices verified for every Lab level?
No. All 19 first-level prices were read directly from v0.7.1 on a new Guest with zero purchased levels. The table and lookup are explicitly limited to level 0 → 1.
What should I upgrade first?
If you need space for another attack, inspect 4th move. If you want more control over offers, compare Refresh, Skip and Banish. Choose the effect that addresses your current problem and budget from the price in your Lab; no universal fastest order is established here.
How much do PokeBonk Lab upgrades cost?
Each card and level can have its own price. This guide records 19 level-0-to-1 prices from v0.7.1; later-level prices must be checked in your current Lab.
