Check the original address
Open the original game in a new tab without closing the session you are investigating. If it works there but not in the embedded window, you have narrowed the issue to that browsing context. It does not prove a global game outage.
If both fail, record the exact message. “The page cannot be reached,” a blank 3D area and an account connection error are different observations. They should not all lead to the same browser reset.
Match the next check to what you see
| Symptom | Next useful check |
|---|---|
| Address fails before any page appears | Record the connection error and compare a normal available network. |
| Page shell appears, game scene does not | Check the original site’s script permission and browser graphics support. |
| Original works, embedded window does not | Continue directly in the original tab; record browser and embed behavior. |
| Scene appears but motion is choppy | Use the performance guide; this is no longer only a loading symptom. |
| Only movement or aiming feels wrong | Click inside the game and inspect the live control settings. |
Separate the page from the renderer
The original introduction requires JavaScript and WebGL. MDN explains that WebGL relies on browser and device graphics support. Seeing page text therefore does not prove that the 3D renderer is available.
Check the browser’s settings or built-in help for script and graphics permissions. Record the current setting before changing it. Compare a current browser in a separate context if needed, keeping the original context intact. Do not assume that another context will automatically have the same Guest identity.
Keep a compact record of the failure
Write down the game URL, visible version if available, browser version, device, time with timezone and the last action before the failure. Include whether the original tab and embedded window behaved differently. If you changed a setting, record the before-and-after result.
Stop repeating a change that produces the same result. A precise report helps the original project distinguish a loading problem from an account or rendering problem; repeatedly clearing data removes useful context without identifying a cause.
PokeBonk black screen, white screen or connection error?
A PokeBonk loading problem needs a specific symptom. If the page opens but the 3D scene stays blank, investigate rendering and WebGL support. If the address cannot be reached, record the connection message. If the original game works in a separate tab but the embedded window fails, keep both observations. This narrows the problem without assuming that the whole PokeBonk service is unavailable.
Frequently asked questions
Does a blank iframe mean PokeBonk is down?
No. Compare the original game in a new tab. An embedding or browser-context issue can differ from the game’s own availability.
Should I clear all browser data first?
Keep the original session while checking the symptom, settings and direct game address. A reset can remove local context and is not a diagnosis.
What should I check when PokeBonk is not loading?
Compare the original site in a new tab with the embedded window. Note whether the failure is a connection error, blank 3D scene or another visible symptom before changing settings.
