Game progress and this planner are separate
The original project notice describes account and progress services, alongside browser storage used for session-related information. It does not promise that every interrupted run can resume at its exact previous moment.
This website’s Lab planner stores its own planning inputs in your browser when storage is available. It does not save the original game, verify a result or restore an account. A remembered budget therefore tells you only that the planner has retained your inputs.
Before you reset anything
Avoid treating a fresh entry screen as conclusive evidence that the original record is gone. A different browser context can have different local state. MDN also notes that private browsing storage has different persistence from an ordinary session. A test window is useful for diagnosis, but it is not a migration tool.
- Return to the same browser and profile you used for the original session.
- Check the original game’s visible account or Guest identity before starting a new profile.
- Record the game version, current balance and the result you expected to receive.
- Keep that browser session intact while comparing the issue in another tab or contacting the original project.
Describe a missing result precisely
Separate three observations: what the run showed, what the account or balance shows now, and what you expected to happen. If you made a purchase between those observations, record that purchase too. Otherwise a lower balance can be misread as an uncredited reward.
A useful report includes the approximate time with timezone, mode, visible account type, version, error wording and the steps before the interruption. A screenshot of the result or error is stronger than an estimated total reconstructed much later. Share it through the original project’s support route and omit passwords or session tokens.
Resume planning after the balance is clear
When you can read a stable current balance, update the planner with that number. Keep an uncertain reward out of a measured sample until you know what was actually credited; if the final confirmed reward is zero, include zero.
If a release note mentions recovery or settlement fixes, read its scope carefully. A fix announcement is evidence of a reported change, not a guarantee about one specific account. The update checklist helps separate those claims.
PokeBonk lost progress or an outdated planner balance?
First identify which value is missing. PokeBonk progress belongs to the original game; the Field Guide remembers only calculator inputs. If the game shows your expected League and balance but the calculator is outdated, edit the plan. If PokeBonk itself shows unexpected progress, preserve that browser session and check its Guest or account identity before creating another profile or clearing storage.
Frequently asked questions
Can this wiki recover my save?
No. Your game session belongs to the original project. Preserve the original browser context and use the project’s account or support options. The Lab planner only retains its own planning data.
Does the calculator save my PokeBonk progress?
No. It stores manual planning inputs in this browser. Your League, credited rewards and game progress belong to the original PokeBonk account or Guest session.
