How the PokeBonk Stardust calculator works
The PokeBonk Lab calculator adds the individual prices of the remaining levels you enter. Your shortfall is that total minus your current balance, with a minimum of zero. A missing price remains unknown and is never treated as a free upgrade.
Continue a PokeBonk Lab goal from the homepage
Choose an upgrade on the homepage, enter your balance and open the full planner in a new tab. When browser saving is available, the upgrade name, owned level and edited price transfer with your plan. Changing an owned level above zero clears the first-level price so you can enter the current next price instead of reusing a lower-level value.
A worked Stardust budget example
These are fictional inputs to demonstrate the calculation. With a balance of 550 and target prices of 600, 800 and 400, the total cost is 1,800 and the gap is 1,250. Recent rewards of 180, 220 and 200 give an average of 200. The estimate is 7 more runs. If those runs took 10, 12 and 11 minutes, the average is 11 minutes and the estimated time is 77 minutes.
A purchase schedule is cumulative. In that example, the first, second and third goals are reached after approximately 1, 5 and 7 additional runs. Those stages should not be added together.
Make comparisons useful
Keep mode, region and starting upgrades consistent when comparing run samples. Zero-reward runs still count. Historical best and worst sample outcomes are scenarios, not guaranteed limits. Update prices and sample conditions after a PokeBonk version, build or major upgrade changes. The runs figure projects a constant average; it is not a guaranteed completion time or a statistical model of fluctuating rewards.
PokeBonk Lab calculator questions
Does this spend Stardust or change my game?
No. The tool only performs local calculations. You choose and buy upgrades inside the original game yourself.
Are the example prices real current-game prices?
No. The example is fictional and is labelled as such. Enter the actual price displayed for each level in your own game. The separate quick price lookup uses observed v0.7.1 prices for level 0 → 1 only. Check your next price in the game; higher-level prices are not inferred.
Why are my run or time results missing?
A run estimate needs a positive average reward. A time estimate also needs usable duration data. Complete the missing inputs; an unknown value is not automatically replaced with zero.
Will my plan follow me to another device?
The plan is stored in this browser when local storage is available. It is separate from your game account and does not sync across devices. Opening the full planner in the same browser can restore the latest saved inputs.
